For sale is a clean 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager with only 154K miles and the 3.3l V6 engine. It was donated to charity and I bought it at auction. Vehicle history is 2 previous owners the first in AL the second downstate IL so this has no rust. It is Grand so it has the extended body with seating for 7. Both 2nd and 3rd row can be removed and has dual sliding doors that operate manually (no motors to burn out). To me the older ones had much more comfortable seats than the newer ones that fold into the floor.
It has all power windows/vents, locks and seat that work and has AM/FM/CD with tape player and EQ. The front heat blows hot even on the coldest days that I drove it in.
The interior was clean with no rips, tears, stains, or smells. The fluids were all checked only the battery was dead because they sit for weeks at lot.
The steering is tight no looseness or wobbling. The tires, brakes and exhaust are good. No smoke, noises, or leaks. The battery was dead so I grabbed new one from Walmart that night so everything works. No dash/CEL lights.
The issues are:
There is a slight knocking noise when going over bumps. This is a very common issue with these there are TSB’s out (02-004-01 and 02-003-05) for this that are either the stabilizer end links or the stabilizer bar bushing.
Rear heat blower motor operates (can hear it run) but no air comes out of overhead ducts. The front heat blows hot enough to keep the whole van warm though.
The interior headliner is sagging in several spots.
Rear wiper arm has the wiper blade removed and tape on the end of arm. I haven’t taken the time to see what is wrong with it because I don’t use the rear wipers. If it warms up I might check it out.
