Last fuel system I Did on a 6.4 was about $10k.

6.4 I don't even cycle the glow plugs in single digit. But I wouldn't pick and choose over that

Ouch. Same price as a 6.7 fuel system, huh?

The mechanic was telling me that injectors are $275 a piece, and the hpfp is $1100. What else can fail? Nickel and dime stuff?

The entire fuel system gets replaced or flushed. Both pumps get replaced, both rails, fuel rail sensor fuel filter housing, fuel cooler, tank if it's not cleanable or delaminating. That and labor to do that, back flush the system, is about 10k.

The only swap I could see happening is a 6.0. I talked to a couple diesel shops about doing a cummins swap. They said expect to spend close to $25k on that.

I also asked about putting in a new 6.4. They just did one this week, and it was $17500.

The cummins swap kit was pretty reasonable money from the links others were posting, and the motors themselves aren't terrible either, why were they saying 25K?????

Well, it looks like the motor itself is at least $5k, then a little more for the kit, which isn't everything needed. I'm just guessing that install will be another $5k. Then, who wants to replace a 350hp motor with one that makes 190hp.
