the truck motor has lower compression, different exhaust manifolds, different intake manifold, and different cams, that's all I know of there may be more

Intake is not different, it just does not have the 5.0 cover that the Mustang has. Manifolds are also the same.

LOL you can see my rant about the LS vs coyote in the LS3 vs Coyote engine build off thread......

coyotes a BA engine for what it is and cant tell me that in a 2-2500# car wouldn't be fun!

I would rather just spend the money on a built iron block or build up my Teksid for that price and then shit all over that stock Coyote motor. I also could still use my blower kits without changing a thing!

they sure look different to me, the truck motor has cast iron manifolds and the mustang has tube header looking manifolds, the mustang intake looks taller and its made out of a grey composite rather than black like the truck manifold

Truck motor I believe was rated lower hp and about the same tq down low . The lower compression might help if going FI . Either way , a coyote will take abuse. Glws
