10's first time out with our Hellion project

First trip out netted a 10.59 at 127 @17lbs. Plenty of room for improvement.
Running on 315/35-17 BFG's.

Nice ET, but I wonmder why the MPH is so low. Seems to me like it should be in the mid 130s

Nice john, who drove it???? you should be seeing my car at the track in a few weeks- maybe like 4-6? she's going to get a beatin.

The mph is not there because we didn't run more than 17lbs. of boost and
we will give up a little speed with the auto. We spent the day getting the car to hook and playing with the shift points. The car went 1.5 60s and it will go faster. We ran a nice safe tune all day and did not play with that at all. Ray I can't wait to see your can running. Let me know when you get it. Mark drove the car this weekend.

The car has the Hellion 76 Kit, 4r70w by Dr. Evil tansmissions, return fuel system, 8.8 rear and a custom rollbar by Behind bars race cars. The converter
is a 9 inch. Stock long block. We were leaving with between 8-12 of boost.

not a bad e.t. on radials,but the mph seems alittle low...any thoughts?

Looking at all the data it looks like we are driving thru the converter. We
are haveing it tightened up and we will try again.

Found our boost problem tonight. As soon as we get our convertor back from Lenny we we be going for our 9 second slip on radials.Not just any radials 315/35r17 BFG's. {Just in case the slicks and skinnies will be here for the weekend}.
Big thanks to Ben Ripstien for letting us build him such a cool Hot Rod!!!!!
