Trucks can take corners too!!!

In case no one else believed me, I have a few pictures from the autocross event this past weekend at Joliet Junior College. This is going to be very expensive for me from a tire standpoint, but it is more fun than just running down a striaght line.

Plus, how will you ever know just how fast you can take a corner unless you try it?

I think everyone there got a treat:


1. Only 4700-lb vehicle, and only truck, to run the cones.

2. There was no mistaking I was running - I had the only vehicle where the supercharger whine was louder than the exhaust.

3. I got a little too aggressive coming out of a turn on my last run, and spun the truck entirely around. But I didn't knock over any cones!

I was always told that if you don't knock over any cones, you're not trying hard enough.
