Removing Subsctiptions

Maybe I am just blind, but does anyone know how to remove subcriptions ot change the notification type on it?

Are you getting a bazillion Email notices too? I dont even subscribe to them either. It does it automaticly

Yes that is my exact problem... I changed my settings, however I still get the old ones emailed to ALL THE TIME

I changed the setting as well, nothing changed either. Its really annoying when I have like 35 to delete :stick:

Does anyone really want the E-mail notifications? Is it possible to turn them off from the control tower? I'm too lazy to go turn off the old thread subscriptions one at a time.

so any news on the emails? they fill up my inbox, however they do make me always come back to this site

OK.. please bear with me...

First go to your "User CP"
Then go to "Edit Options"

in the Messaging & Notification section choose the type of "Default Thread Subscription Mode" from the drop down box.

once your selection is diplayed, go to the bottom of the page and choose "Save Changes"

The second step is that when you post a new thread or reply to a thread, make sure that the "Thread Subscription" option is the correct one.

If the above steps do not fix the problem, then please let me know by posting a response here.

Are you guys still being bombarded with emails? Did you follow Jack's post above?

I just realized that the ones I have been getting on my home email as notifications were from the first batch posted on the board. If you look further down on the email notification there is a link to remove subscription, that was it!! Yeah no more!!

I dont get any from the new threads. Whenever somebody digs up an old thread Ill get one. Thank god it stopped, With all my posting I think my finger would fall off.
