Has anyone seen Southern Tier creme brulee stout anywhere?

Binnys will definitely have if when it's in season. Check Southern Tier's site, they tell you when each beer is in season

Binny's in Glen Ellyn had it last week. I still have a bottle in the fridge from last year.

I tried Stones new "Enjoy by" IPA...ummm how do you say..ummm fucking amazing. Crazy hop nose, definately some citra and amarillo in there, maybe cascade and warrior bittering. It had a great bright yellowish orange color to it, very similar to some 3 Floyds products. I highly recommend for the hop heads out there.

Kevin, I think I've converted. Remember when i said I tried Zombie Dust and found it way too hoppy? Well, strangely enough ever since then I've been craving it. Went to Two Brothers last night and had a couple. Kane and Ebel and Outlaw IPA...both pretty hoppy and both very good. Then I had a sampler of Ebel's Weisse, which after those really hoppy beers, was nice and sweet, and the vanilla and banana made it almost like drinking ice cream, it was awesome.

Excellent! Once your pallet gets used to them they become very addicting. I used to be a miller lite guy, slowly started liking some craft beers at parties and shit friends would bring over. Before i knew it i was craving 100IBUs all the time. lol

You know what's crazy is that I've been drinking "craft" before it was really popular. I started drinking popular imports like Heineken and others back in like 97 or 98. Then I found Pier 1 imports and found that they had a huge selection of off the wall imports, so I tried all kinds of stuff. I tried some IPAs back then and didn't care for them much, I likened their flavor to "dish water". But through my experimenting with the imports, I found Rogue, my first "craft" and drank Dead Guy Ale often, which led to some other mainstream crafts. What's weird is that it wasn't until like 2 years ago that I got as serious about crafts as I am now. I'm actually going to buy a homebrewing kit this winter and try my hand at it.

But yeah, it's weird how your palate comes around and changes.

Forget the kits, get a 7g or larger pot, a 10g cooler, some hoses, and ill show you what to do for a 12 pack. If you need any advice or guidance let me know.

Went to Revolution last night since they had a triple release. Tried all 3, the Mad Cow Milk Stout, A Little Crazy, and Night Moves.

The Mad Cow was delicious. Just a real smooth stout. Will definitely pick up a few bombers for winter consumption. A Little Crazy was great too. It was a Belgian style pale ale with huge citrus and aromatic flavors. I did not care for Night Moves. Its a black wheat ale that left a weird aftertaste that I can't really describe.

Sounds expensive...and keep in mind I live in a 1 bedroom apartment lol. Here's the kit I was looking at, my buddy down the street has the same kit.

If I had the money and space, I'd do something bigger and permanent lol.

So when I was at Two Brothers Roundhouse the other night, I saw 2 guys who I am assuming were the "two brothers" sitting at a table next to us, and they had 7 or 8 bottles of beer and a bunch of glasses. They were sampling new beers and talking about flavor and whatnot, and writing down notes, probably to see if they wanted to put them on the menu or so they could describe each one to customers. I was sooo envious. I NEED that job!

Next Friday (the 14th) Revolution Brewing will be taking over the taps at the Bavarian Lodge in Lisle. I'll be there with a few friends most likely getting shitty. So if you want to try out Revolution's brews without the drive to Logan Square, come on out!

Its like 10 minutes from my house. Went there a few years ago but never went back. Not sure why because they have a terrific beer selection.

I just got home from Bavarian. I was there from 7-10. I was rocking one of my Revolution shirts and when I walked in all the guys from Rev where pointing at me and were like "HEY!". They later came by and gave me 2 free tickets to their Oktoberfest party next weekend just for representing Just reinforcing how fucking awesome they are.

I was also sitting to the right of the Revolution taps, right at the corner of the bar. We got a table in the other room once my other friends showed up.
