Meh. She confessed to driving into a huge drift at roughly the speed limit... Lol. Doubt tires would have saved the day here.

So far, snow is not bothering my wife and I. 5 years in the Volt on all-seasons and never been stuck or lost control. Wife is a safe driver and knows the limit of her lil car.

Durango is great in the snow, albeit having great low-end torque, AWD and somewhat wide all-season tires.

Debating if I should go into cheat mode next year and buy a set of Blizzaks. Make for a very fun ride during winter, lol.

not because it's a touch sketchy on it's all seasons but because it's leather seats never go above ice cube temperature when i drive it. it's ridiculous

I helped fix the plow truck at my local 7-11, and it has some kind of garbage all seasons on it, I don't know how on earth he is going to plow with that thing (06 F-150 CC), has ZERO traction in snow.

Meanwhile my General Grabber AT2's make my Suburban feel like it has claws into the road while plowing, VERY happy with them.

My G6 seats were the same. The leather seats took forever to warm up, and never got very warm. But the cloth seat models had burn your ass heating.

My RS heated seats and steering wheel can get burning to the touch hot. The steering wheel especially can be uncomfortable to hold when its full blast.

If only they had made it with a heated shift knob. If someone made one, I would buy it.

Heated seats are a must in this weather. No doubt. I will say I love a heated steering wheel. Thought it was stupid until the first time I used it. Then I was sold. haha

I miss my remote start in the E90 more than anything. Stupid BMW thinking it is a safety issue to have remote start.

Leather = heated seats
Cloth = heated seats are unnecessary

I put the iPhone in the cup holder of the 17 GT. Driving for after an hour I pick up the iPhone and it’s ice cold to the touch.

Definitely colder outside than the venom that pumps through my wife's veins.

The heated seats combined with the suede/leather split in the fusion makes for quite the toasty time.

Driving down 135th (2 lane road) where it’s 35 mph. I’m driving 40 mph (5 over limit).

Gray Nissan Frontier flies up on to my rear bumper swerving side to side. Block down the road he swings into oncoming traffic lane and swerves at my car a couple times, then speeds up to get in front of me and slows down trying to get me to stop (blocking the lane).

So got out of there which he couldn’t keep up.

No idea what that was about. Mistaken identity, nut bag, winter weather, or who knows.

Driving in this weather has people a little nuts.

WTF...

and the cloth heated seats in the malibu were amazing. except when the switch went bad, and they would turn themselves on. that sucked in the summer.

I wish I had a heated steering wheel. Heated seats are great and all but I'd trade them for a heated wheel. Next DD will have one.

I would probably agree with you. I hate wearing gloves. So it really is a great thing to have.

Heated seats are nice to have but I hardly ever use them. I could get by without heated leather seats. Now cooler leather seats are another story. I don't want another car without cooled seats. So nice to have in the summer.

cooled seats > heated steering wheel > heated seats
