I know AVE did a review on the Lithium ones where he said hell no due to the charging stuff on Lithium Ion,
but anyone ever use one of the NI-CAD ones?
I'm using the Default 18V stuff. Of course the adapter to go to 20V Lithium batteries says not to use with my drill.:madfawk:

I must have missed that warning???
I switched all my dewalt hammer drills to the lithium adapter a long time ago, zero issues.
Flashlights, and saws work fine also.

I wouldn't do it. I ruined a laptop MOBO with a knockoff high capacity battery. Melted/burned the board where the charging port plug was

Yeah like I said the Lithium stuff is kind of a bomb if the electronics suck. You have to have a good charger and current limiting.
