buffering on what? kodi? is it better on youtube?

that would give you a wired connection which would be more stable, but if the source of your video is questionable or overseas, it could just be a shitty connection causing the buffering in which case there isnt much you can do.

You aren't even close to touching that speed over wireless. If you are trying to play high bitrate video this will help but like tinfoil said it depends on the source of the video.

Depends on the WiFi mode (2.4 vs 5ghz), and general background noise.

2.4 struggles to hit 100mbits+ on most days.

5ghz should do it all day long on a clean signal.
