I just wanted to point out that the car goes to auction and then the person is held liable for the balance of the debt afterwards. That means that by destroying the car they are increasing the amount that will still be owed by them afterwards. They think they're hurting "da man" when they're really just screwing themselves.

That being a Dodge Journey, It's FWD (at a minimum). Was the repo man gonna drag it down the street like that? He'd be liable for those damages. Or was he gonna pull it out , drop it, then re-lift from the front?
