My wife and I have been working on Youtube videos lately and the garage makes a perfect backdrop for most of our videos but I am having trouble with sound quality because of the echo. I still need to insulate the ceiling in the garage but I am not sure how much that will help since I have 12' ceilings and the garage is pretty open.

Anyone have experience with this and have any ideas that won't cost a ton of money?

Here's the latest video:

Get some moving blankets on the walls and/or DIY some sound deadening panels.

quick youtube search.

this one uses old bathroom Towels in a panel. Make 3-4 of them and hinge them together and you have a freestanding movable partition/sound deading panel. I did something like this to deaden sound when recording in my house.
