Hello Jeffrey, the vehicle is still in transit and is not yet here,when we do get the Demon it will be listed at $50,000 over MSRP.

Not surprised one bit. We all knew this was coming. Dodge tried to keep the prices down by incentive things by building lower cost units first. However when it’s a dealer unit, they have no reason to let it go for 88k

My neighbor still works for Bettenhausen. He said dealers would only get their allotment if they sold at sticker. It doesn't stop the owner from buying them and reselling at whatever he/she wants.

Out the door, the guy paid $99k, older guy from Wayne bought it.

I say forget about telling them he is going to. I'd just do it.

Granted, not much in the scheme of things.

Or I suppose you could take the email and forward it to the Jalopnik guy who was writing the demon articles and let me post it up with the dealer information.

Not that it would net you a Demon at MSRP.

I predict some of the same thing that happened with the Focus RS and Civic Type-R for the dealers who were raping customers on Mark-Up.

The cars are going to sit on the lot for a bit. I know the Demon is in much more demand than either of the two cars above, but I think the savvy buyers who are paying attention on the Dodge forums will be avoiding that particular car.

Though, I admit, there is always "that guy" who has to have it, and has money to burn and doesn't care that he'll pay more than 50% over MSRP for the car.

I suspect they don't want to sell it, but use it as their own halo car to bring potential buyers in to check it out. Then, switch those customers to a Hellcat, SRT, etc... Pricing it at $50k over MSRP ensures that it can sit in their showroom for quite awhile.
