Wife wants to see a play/show/whatever you call them

Any recommendations? She wants to see a play/show/musical of sorts. I'm completely unplugged from what is even out there and won't completely put me to sleep.

It is a gift from me to her, so I don't want her to pick it out.

As much as I hate Chicago and the expense of parking. The Chicago Theatre is a nice place to attend.

I received some free tickets from a client not long ago. Friend of his was directing the music. Big Fish was the show. Interesting experience to say the least

A warning though, the theatre crowd is full of weirdos

This, have not seen Hamilton but I want to, and I've seen Wicked twice now, great show. Les Misérables is another really good show, but it's not running in Chicago right now based on a quick google search.

Jackie has seen Hamilton two or three times I think. Book of Mormon was also good. If she's a Harry Potter fan, there's a Potted Potter parody stage act that's supposed to be good.

We will sometimes go to Chicagos big theaters and watch a broadway play.

But most of the time we go to the Paramount in Aurora for plays and Arcada in St Charles for music venues.
