I've got a Verizon S5 that's not activated anymore and my daughter could use this phone. Is it as simple as changing the Sim card or do I need to contact Verizon?

Just change the SIM card. If the phone is not an unlocked phone though, you might need to get the SIM card from Verizon.

Yeah throw in a sim and see what happens. You may need to contact Verizon if you want to use it on a different network and get an unlock code

For my Verizon s4, I was able to just put in a TMobile Sim and then go into the cellular network settings and change it to tmobile network settings. Just Google it for instructions on your phone model, very easy to do. No call needed to either company to get it working.

I changed the sim card and changed the settings to the T-Mobile network and the phone works perfectly. This was on a Verizon s5.. Thanks for the help. [emoji106]
