Would a radio from this car fit in a 97 to 03 GP? I found 1 for 10.00 and it has the aux. I was just wondering.

I found how to do the mod for aux on a GP Web page under how to section. I think I'm going to try it. I have a spare radio just sitting in garage

Can't you just get a head unit with bluetooth and an AUX for like $40 or less?

Yeah but I like the stock look and that the heads up display shows the radio station and turn signal

Well, that's a good reason to keep it.

I had a 2003. If it's the one where it has RDS, and you reset stuff like OLMS, I'm not sure that you will get anything out of it unless you put it in another 2001 - 2003 car. I'd have to look it up in SI, but I believe this has a security ping along the low speed data line that authenticates it to the BCM. So you just can't hook up power and a ground and go.

I'm not 100% sure though. You will certainly loose any of those integrated functions it has though since the car you're putting it in doesn't have that.
