I didn't know at all until this afternoon. My brother just drove up to San Francisco and he mentioned that it looked like the apocalypse but didn't hear anything about it as like a warning on the news for travelers.

Well fuck! From the number of "are you ok" messages I was getting I was assuming it was widespread coverage. Guess the whole world doesn't revolve around LA.

In seriousness though, there are perpetual fires out in the L.A. area, so maybe we're just numb to hearing it.

Multnomah Falls in Oregon is currently in flames. The lodge hasn't burned yet and hopefully it won't. One of my favorite places in Portland.
