Woodworking advice on restoration/cleaning late 40s radio cabinet

I bought this at a thrift store and am looking for reliable sources of info to properly clean it up. Advice sites, techniques, product suggestions, etc. I'm sure it's just basic wood care and cleaning but I don't even have any of that.

The plan is to turn it into a bar and add a newer amplifier and speaker for basic sound but first I want to clean the cabinet and fill some of the more noticeable scratches. Where do I even start?

I've been reading the Philco forum but also wanted to ask here.

Murphy's oil soap and warm water for starters. Test in an inconspicuous area first.

Depending on the thickness of what's on there you can wet sand and buff from what I've seen. Just like paint

Minwax makes a bunch of color matched scratch fix stuff, the ones I've found work best is a crayon like wax pencil deal that you can match the color with it fills in the scratch so it's hardly noticeable

This is what you want to clean it and get rid of light scuffs scratches.

My wife has been on a kick of old furniture lately and she found this on the internet somewhere. I have seen this shit work first hand it's kind of a miracle cleaner for wood.
