I'm taking a trip to Seattle from the 14th-17tj next week and have a general idea of what I want to do and see. For those of you who have been there, I'm looking for recommendations on restaurants and things to do/see. Some small 10-15min activities would be perfect too i.e. Go visit Bruce lee's grave. Interesting quirky stuff to take a photo of and be on my way.

So far on my list:
-Space needle because tourist
-Snoqualmie Falls and Seattle City tour
-Pike place market
-Washington Park Arboretum

Seattle underground is cool, and the Museum of Flight next to Boeing field is pretty rad, and you go at your own pace, see what you wanna see. They have an actual Space Shuttle that you can walk through, along with an SR-71, 787, 707/Air Force One, Concord, 747-100 #1, and it's all under an enclosure now, in case it's rainy. In case you couldn't tell, I'm also a plane nerd.

The Space Needle is overrated. I always recommend the Sky View Observatory in the Columbia Tower as a cheaper and better alternative.

360° view so you can see the Space Needle, the Olympics, the Cascades, Elliott Bay, Bellevue, Renton and much more. Great for spectacular panoramic shots

-Gas Works Park
-Fremont Troll
-Fremont Brewery
-Seattle Underground tout

Lots of interesting shops and restaurants at the Market. Market Grill has the best Salmon Sandwich. Hit up Pike Place Chowder if the line isn't too long for the next clam Chowder you've ever had.

Fantastic happy hour drinks and small plates at The Athenian restaurant in the market. The Athenian is known for the place where Tom Hanks and Rob Reiner sit from Sleepless in Seattle. But it's actually a cool place to sit next to the window and watch the boats on the sound.

Down on the waterfont you have the Great Wheel ferris wheel, Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe, and other good restaurants including The Crab Pot which is the only place I know here in Seattle that is all you can eat crab bake

As for breweries we have a ton. Definitely recommend Cloudburst but if you go North to Ballard check out Popoluxe, Lucky Envelope, Reuben's and Peddler. All are fantastic.

If you make your way over to the East Side (Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Woodinville) check out Black Raven Brewery, Geaux Brewery and Red Hook's brewpub, which is in the heart of wine cellar central. Lots of tasting rooms and down the street from Red Hook is Woodinville Whiskey they make an amazing bourbon

Also +1 on The Boeing Museum Of Flight. It's an amazing museum. I never get tired of going. The Red Barn is my favorite where it actually gives you the history of Boeing Airplane and how they used to make planes back in the 1915s out of wood and the tools and equipment they used. Super fascinating. But you can definitely spend a few hours here

the boeing factory tour is pretty cool. you're not allowed to take pics, real neat to see.

there's a cool pinball museum in china town. addams family bruh

snoqualmie falls is where dirtfish is, it's like 5 min away from the waterfall. you could stop by, it's where they shot some of twin peaks too. but more cool in that if you stop by you'll probably see people rallying wrxs and 86s around dirt/gravel/cool old wood barns.

Did so much today already. Got off the plane and hopped on the train, went straight to pikes place market and explored for a few hours. Coffee, chowder and sent a post card to mom, stopped at the gum wall, walked the waterfront, rode the great wheel, did a Seattle dog at frankfurters, harbor tour on a boat, just ate lunch at Elliot's oyster house. Going to find somma dat legal greenery and go check in at the hotel, take a nap because I slept three hours due to going to the hawks game last night and leaving for the airport at 2:30am. Mariners rangers game at 7:10

If you stay for the entire Mariners game let me know. I will be heading back into the city later tonight for a show. Can meet at one of the pubs near Safeco

Missed your post :(

I ended up leaving in the 7th, falling asleep in the stands. Was at the blackhawks game the night before and out drinking until midnight after, woke up at 2:39 to go to the airport and slept maybe an hour more between the plane and waiting to board
