After Clarkson, Hammond, and May left the show, the ratings went down the toilet...by a lot. I think they went from over 4 million British viewers to 1.9million by the end of the season with the new cast. Chris Evans was largely to blame for the shows poor success and stepped down leaving LeBlanc as the main host. The chemistry seems to be missing at this point in time.

It looks like Top Gear producers are trying to switch things up by getting rid of the rally track and returning to the traditional track set up. Also bringing back the "Cool Wall" as they said the fans loved that part of the show. Chris Harris is sure to be a bigger part of the show as well.

Discussion is: With The Grand Tour coming out, will these changes be enough to save Top Gear from getting shut down? Is it possible for Top Gear to get cancelled? Will LeBlanc be the host they need to carry the show on his own? Is it possible for Top Gear to recover at all? Etc.

aaaaaaaaand go.

More Chris Harris is a good thing.

And to be honest, I think that Harris, Spinelli, and Farah had better chemistry than anyone they brought onto Top Gear for this season.

The heart and soul of Top Gear became Clarkson/May/Hammond. We tuned in for the cars, but stayed because of those 3.

Top Gear needs to evolve and not try to replicate the antics the 3 get up to. It just won't work. Even if they did a good job, we'd only ever see it as an imitation of the trio.
