A climatologist in Anchorage, Alaska, has compiled an itinerary on his blog for the endless summer road trip. It takes an entire year and you just follow the sun throughout North America, hitting each stop just as the temperature is perfect.

Brian Brettschneider, has always wondered if it’s possible to map a route across North America that offers perfect weather every day of the year. Of course, it’s hard to determine what everyone’s ideal temperature is, but to him, “perfect weather” is about 70°F (21°C). That’s just the average though, in any given year, actual temperatures deviate, so it could be even hotter than that.
He took a look at the NCEI (National Centre for Environmental Information) and Environment Canada and plotted out the average temperatures across North America. Then, he plotted out the ideal North American road-trip, spanning 13,000 miles of endless summer heat.
