Not any. Cheapo Lithium ion batteries are the problem when it comes to these unregulated ecigs

Guy is an idiot. That battery had to be HOT before it vented out like that. I've been messing with E cigs for about two and a half years and have never had one battery problem. As long as you buy authentic reputable cells, a quality charger and devices you'll never have something like that happen to you.
