it's quite taxing for my laptop to edit and render out 4k, and i can only get dashare to render out 1080p (worked on 1440p on desktop at home) - so i've taken the approach of large gauges on my 1080p garmin virb elite video, with the data it recorded, then synching it to my 4k video and doing a picture in picture.
so what you end up seeing is gimbal stabilized 4k video to give you a nice view of the track, then what is actually going on with my head in hard fixed garmin virb picture in picture mode. i didn't think i'd notice it, but i do notice the full rig on my head after i've karted without it. it's heavy and not well balanced because i'm trying to get it in the best position i can. as far as karting videos though, i think it came out super well. here is a sample for the 100cc karts in phuket (they also rent 125cc ones, some of the fastest rentals in the world.)
