That would be such a pain in the ass.

those guys were using tuned waves and audio engineering to build that box,
Notice how there were two speakers for the plane? The box would have to be built to specs.

Realistically, while dimensions will affect the standing waves, for simple music visualization it probably won't matter so long as the box is uniform in measurements and the speakers are placed in the center of each side.

The sound waves need to be perpendicular to each other, and the box's dimensions need to be a square.
