I'm now 4 episodes into Jessica Jones and while it's good, I don't get the "must watch all the episodes like a crackhead" feeling from it.

i enjoyed it. she is good in the role and an enjoyable character. how many female heroines can really carry a show?

per mook's recommendation, i fired up netflix last night. boom comic shows here we go. a bit into it i was like da fuq... this show is like the older cheesier ones. gives me 90s feel or something. jj was way cooler and darker. didn't jessica jones already have surprise buttseckz by now?

then i realized oops, i put on the flash.

corrected this mistake. daredevil pretty cool so far.

It was a slower paced show, but I enjoyed it.

As long as Danny Rand is kept far away, I'm down with Season 2.

Honestly, maybe they should have lead with this story. Instead of purple guy. Just throwing it out there.

Eps 1 and 2 down. Great pacing to start off with. Not revealing anything right away, but dropping plenty of information with some good misdirection.

Finished up JJ s2 tonight.

Did not expect how that ending played out. I should have.

This season has its slower moments, but instead of feeling like a drag or a slump like in Luke Cage it feels more like things are calm for the moment but they are still laying down ground work for the end of the season episodes.

En, nm, I'll leave the spoilers out for now.

Watched 1-12 over the weekend. Just finished up the finale now. Man this was actually quite a depressing freaking season...........but i loved it. I'd always loved Jessicas loner/sarcastic/pessimistic/give no shits attitude, but seeing the events in her life that basically turned her into that person was really quite tragic. And that tragedy continued right into the final episode. Krysten Ritter's performance this season was amazing. She really stepped it up to the next level over season 1.

I kinda don't like how they handled the whole Pryce Cheng thing. It felt like that storyline was only brought in to introduce false tension when there was nothing else going on. When the whole thing went completely bananas I just wasn't buying that it got ramped up THAT quickly. Hopefully they do something meaningful with it next season. But that's really my only gripe.

Overall, I was a bit skeptical when the season started, but as it got farther along, it really turned into something deep. Tho I doubt this season will win over anyone who wasn't a fan of the first season.

All I have to say is I didn't like the ending all that much. Just seemed to bland. I would at least have some sort of "wow" factor. But this season...just seemed to just "end".

I felt satisfied with the ending. Considering the heavy emotions of this season with all of the characters it feels more like a movie with a well thought out and planned sequel.

After thinking back on it now, Pryce is only there for Malcolm's story. Jessica saved Malcolm big time in season 1, and he felt like he owed her so he kept doing things for her, even to the detriment of standing on his own. The Pryce bit gives Malcolm an opportunity to take his own initiative when he loses faith in Jessica. Several times it shows he is even better at the white collar PI world. But it fits perfectly with Malcolm. We get hints that he comes from a very upperclass family.

Jessica wouldn't have bluffed her way through the meeting with Jerri's partner. She has shown zero inclination in dressing up for anything white collar. She'll phish you on the phone, but actually presenting herself as a professional and fooling the lawyer? Its not her style, and I'm not even sure she could do it well enough to pull it off.

Although, I'm sure Jerri's partners are very familiar with Jessica as Jerri has used her in the past. So I'm sure they know who she is.

The story was okay. And I do understand how it ended. But just expected something more. It's just me though. I did enjoy the season none the less. We'll see how the next season will be. Now it's time to wait for the next Marvel show coming out in a few months.

Watched the season also.
A little bored at 1st, but it did finish strong and I enjoyed it!!!

I admit, Ritter is playing the part perfect. I was not a fan before this.
