Selling homes on the Gulf Coast of Florida
We flipped over to fall weather a week ago. Now it's 80s during the day and 60s at night. That will slowly fall until it's 70s-80s and 40s in January. Best time of year for Florida.

If anyone wants to buy a place on the Gulf coast to get away from Illinois winters, I sell real estate down here. Prices are climbing but there are still bargains. Prices off the water down here are dirt cheap compared to Illinois. $175K will still get you a good 3/2/2. As TCG members, I will work hard to get you guys a bargain. Send me a PM if you are interested.

I turn my heat on 2-3 times a year.

I was at fright fest all day today. Cold doesn't bother me. Plus I work in this cold up until I get my winters off (I work construction). I enjoy the cold. Especially when it's cold in the morning and you're under heavy blankets and you don't want to get up.

Cold don't bother me either.. Damn roommate gets cold and wants heat on... Heck I sleep with Windows open and fan on I love it.. Am same way.

Just the dryness from heat bothers a lot.

Fall has turned from my least favorite time of year to of my my most favorite. It's been brutally hot over the last month, way above average. Finally the highs are getting into the low 80's and high 70's. And unlike Cliff I'm not trying to be facetious. When it's sunny and 85 - 95 every day, any kind of change is exciting. The other day it was cloudy and didn't clear up and it was basically the equivalent of a snow day in Chicago.

While I'm not in real estate, I too would love to hook up anyone that would like to move. I can get you a deal on a 3/2/2 as well. 1 Million and it will be in middle of Compton.

Also, it will have burned down so bring paint and also a new house. Also I don't know what a 3/2/2 is.

Always go during the day mid-week. Much lower attendance. I used to buy a Season Pass. My nephew is getting old enough that I'll probably get a Season Pass again so we can go. Once you have a season pass it gets real cheap to go there as long as you pack a lunch in a cooler, about the cost of gas to get there.

Unless you are going with one of those people who insists on playing all the Pay to Play carnival style games. Ugh. I go there for the coasters, screw all the other things.

Every time this crap happens, Phoenix looks better and better..

I hate the cold with a passion... and seem to be getting less and less tolerant of it ever year!

I lived in Phoenix for 1 year back in 2011. It nice man but you will have to get use to that heat. It will take a couple seasons to adjust, but the plus side is you have Flagstaff less then 1 hour away. Tons of people go there to escape the heat. One day I might move back there, I like the change of seasons here but I can only take so much when winter shows up. Even during the summer months here you can become miserable. You never know what the weather is going to do and it can ruin your outdoor activities half the time.

I rode 1 coaster (Superman), and a few smaller ones. I go at least twice a year. Once before fright fest and once during. Kind of a tradition now. We always get the season pass. I think my wife and I spent a little over $100 yesterday (including food and more souvenirs for the baby).

Last year when my wife and I went (with her family), there was a lady and her daughter who never been to fright fest. They didn't know what to expect and was scared shitless. They both ended up clinging to each of my arms while my wife (pregnant at the time) was just watching. I ended up having to "escort" them to the exit since they couldn't handle it anymore.

I always find enjoyment when people are running away because they get scared.
