HD Cooler Help! (Yeti, Orca, Pelican, Igloo)

Give me your experiences and options for a ~100qt cooler that I can beat the shit out of and will keep ice frozen for at least 4 days.


I'm looking at the Yeti Tundra 105 but that price tag is hard to swallow. I don't mind spending the coin though if it truly is the market leader in bad ass beer chillin' devices






Disclaimer: I've broken 2 regular coleman/igloo coolers this past summer. So replaceable parts and durability is key.

My cousin has a pretty massive Yeti and the thing is a god damn beast. Keeps ice for several days outdoors in TN. He is super happy with it, but yeah, they demand some hefty coin.

Edit: as a matter of fact, it may be the one you posted that he has.

The Tundra 105 is the tall version of their ~100qt coolers. The 110 has a considerably larger footprint so I thought the 105 would be the ticket.

Okay, I thought his seemed shorter, so he may have the wider, shorter one you're describing there.

I have a Yeti roadie (25Q). I use it on the back of my side by side. Ice stays cold for about 4 days or so. That's with it sitting above the engine. I've been looking into getting a 100 quart as well but like you said that's a boat of cash for a cooler. Only complaint I hear is they are super heavy, so I wouldn't plan to move it once it's full.
