Garage door bottom seal (Astragal)

The channels are narrow, approximately 1/4" wide. Lowes and Menards have seals with T at 5/16" and do not fit.

Does anyone here know where I can get a seal with 1/4" T for a 16' door?

Why don't you buy a new seal and retainer? Other wise you'll have to find out who made your door and contact them.

Lowes, menards and Home Depot suck for parts. They don't sell universal parts anymore, just ones for the doors they sell. You need to look up a local door company and see if they will sell a seal to you. You can call the company I used to work for. Allied garage door in villa park. Tell them Brian matti sent you.

Maybe his is torn or the concrete is uneven or he has a wood door and it is warped? You still need a bottom seal regardless

Torn since 2008...finally removed it and without a seal in place there is no more daylight coming through...

Did you read the first post?
He needs to adjust the door up 1/8" and install the 5/16" seal

I did. I think you are misunderstanding it. He is talking about the diameter of the channel that the "T" part of the seal slides into. Not the gap between the door and the concrete.
