Yeah, if that GT500 had some lowering springs the outcome would be different.

The biggest issue is weight. The GT500 is a huge bitch. In 2011, Ford is rumored to be bring an aluminum block so that would help. The GT500 is also handicapped tire wise too. I am not sure why Ford keeps sourcing the GY Supercars when there are much better Max performance tires out there.

The vette has the same exact GY eagle F1 supercars, accept the ones on the vette are runflats......different sizes ofcourse.

I thought I read that the Grand Sport ran Michelin PS2's, but I was wrong. You are correct, both run the F1's which are shit tires. I just got my C&D and they also complained about brake fade as well in the GT500.
