I dropped off some oil to Vince today, he said he was going to be at Autobahn today,
He tells me to bring my helmet so I can get a "spirited" ride.
so I get there

lot of stuff going on there today, lotta cool cars
they had the 2 tracks connected to make the one big track.(very cool, I have drove on both but never connected like that)

All I have to say is that car ,
in its current set up,
& with those sticky tires , That thing can pull some "G's"
:biggthump
Thank you for the ride, I had a great time.

A spirited ride with Vince? I find that hard to believe:laughing2

You should have stuck around for the member's chase race and watch him get those front rotors glowing red, and that's no exageration!:hail:

I see that weekly at Grundy County Speedway, but our cars weigh a bit more than some of those...

he said he was looking for better pads, guess he needs to keep looking.

BTW Vince, here is the pads we are running

Thanks for dropping off the oil Jody! :burnout:

I run the same pads, 70's in the front and 60's in the rear. :alcoholic
and people think chasing down oil from the parts store is more convenient,:D

weird that the pads on our car don't glow...(anymore)
you would think this would give the brakes a work out.

I think force would grow exponentially with weight and speed. Try braking from 115/120 MPH down to 50/60 for twenty minutes rather than that short track. .02

Also, my pads do glow best @ OktoberFAST in the evening. Something about driving @ dusk. :alcoholic

yeah,
but @ the short track , they get on the binders every 6.5 seconds 2 times a lap
for 30 laps and I know for a fact the stock cars are heavier, you do not have a few hundred pounds of lead sitting over the left rear tire.
now you wand to see glowing rotors, you should of seen it last season with the "Performance Friction" pads and the brake bias adjuster stuck with the bias toward the fronts:eek:
you should to try to make it out next summer.
