OBS was cool, but, I didn't want to get stuck with another vehicle I wouldn't drive in the winter. Sold it Friday with no thought of replacing it until the Kane auction at the end of October, then this showed up online and I had to go check it out.

Late 1999 F-250 XLT. ECLB 7.3 ZF6 4x4. 99% Rust free Wyoming truck, I haven't found any "rot" yet, just surface rust where paint has peeled off. 9' Knapheide utility body, Eagle 1,300 pound liftgate and a 1,000 pound crane.

If you've been following along in the truck threads I've been on the hunt for a 4x4 extended or crew cab utility body truck for a while now, which is surprisingly hard to find for a reasonable price. This one popped up with the added bonuses of the gate and crane, plus my "want" of a manual trans diesel, so, it worked out.

I'll get some better pictures in the upcoming days.

Wait.... How many miles?

All of them

Currently residing at 382,000. I've put about 600 on in four days. I did 85 on 294 home from Milwaukee and it didn't give a single fuck. Zero blow-by, no haze at idle. Either someone really took care of it or it's had motor work. Trans has 150k-ish and the clutch is brand new. 4x4 works great, no bearings or u-joints fucked up. Already had it on the lift to do end links and I was pretty surprised.

Fuck

I'm tempted but there's some little shit I want to do to it first. I'm trading some paint correction on my friends 12-valve drag truck project for window tint on this, It needs all new seats at the minimum as well and I'd like to find some wheels for it.

I'm going to do intake/4" turbo back/ tune asap as well. 380k perfect time to add 100hp right?

I was just fucking ecstatic when I showed up and it wasn't an early '99. I'm already a bit ahead on the power game right there.

Piiiiggg. ...
What you thinking about for tunes?

Something incredibly basic. Realistically I'd be OK with a 75ish horse single tune. I'm not trying to win any races, I'd just like to be able to cruise down the highway in overdrive pulling a trailer and have the nuts to not downshift for the slightest hill. It's a stick so the trans tuning is a moot point.

Who do you suggest? I was probably just going to go TS or something that's been around for ages
