Well. I found some rust in the front frame rails of my last car. I was letting it sit in my garage while I pondered what to do with it. And then this gem showed up for sale on Facebook for pennies, and it was even local! 14k mile new edge shell. Perfect and rust free, jackpot. Disposed of my old turd via sawzall and brought the new girl home.

Got it loaded up on a chassis jig I picked up as well from CKSC. That was an adventure. Cant wait to get it down, barf.

I gutted the thing some more. Front frame was immediately cut off. And I began installing parts- weld on CC plates, TeamZ suspension, Menscer struts, Strange Brakes

Got all the body panels together and test fitted with duct tape lol. Need to make the door hinges and front clip dzus brackets. Stock steel fenders- antenna filled, extended to windshield to delete cowl. Carbon Schoneck cobra bumper and hood. Carbon Harry Glass doors. Also have a trunk with Racecraft wing, not pictured. Also found some SN95 pillar panels to go with the Bullitt side scoops, and still have the cobra side skirts.

Ordered new wheels. 15x12 double beadlock Champion rears and Weld full throttle 15" fronts

And onto some details for the drivetrain... I really wanted to overbuild the motor and trans to last a few years. Its ridiculous how fast these cars are progressing these days and I didn't want to have a bunch of money into something that id be bored with in 6 months, and then obsolete worth zero money. Anyways I stumbled upon this deal through a friend. I had to do some dealing and hustling but I ended up with everything fairly cheap.

Dart Iron eagle - 374"
Stock stroke 3.5" Callies magnum crank
4.125" diamond pistons, tool steel pins
GRP aluminum rods
Brodix Neal BF200 heads - dry deck and oring
Jesel rockers
Manton pushrods
Morel .904 lifters
Edelbrock Victor Glidden intake
Turbo cam
Jesel belt drive
Stefs fabricated oil pan

Motor ended up coming with a stainless forward facing T6 turbo kit. It was nice quality but I was going with twins and didn't want to hack up the merge that was worth money. So I sold the entire kit and picked up some stainless headers- these ones have EGT ports and hug the block a bit closer. Unfortunately it interferes with the ginormous oil pan, so I will need to notch that guy later, or go dry sump. Mmmm

I sent the innovators west balancer out to be rebuilt. Was like $90 for them to replace everything and polish it. Never really knew this was an option, but well worth it!

I also did some trading and got a trans from Lukas. Apparently it was just refreshed by BTE but who knows with how much that guy flips stuff lol. Will probably have Dave Klaput take a look at it before its run. Im not too familiar with TH400s yet.

Its a Reid aftermarket case, with a SBF bellhousing. ATI billet pump, BTE billet 2 speed valve body with brake. Its either a 1.48 or 1.57 gear ratio, with the huge 1 3/16" input shaft.

And Ill leave a teaser here for the boost makers. Ill be picking these up at PRI next weekend, wew!

28in tire with 275 width max would be my definition of a small tire at its biggest. Again it's all up for debate and that's why when racing you need to clarify details. I could think a 29 or 31 or whatever is a small tire for me.

Really there is no "medium tire" just small and basically street outlaws big tires lol
