I joked with the service writer when the porter moved the car up, that they apparently aren't THAT bad, because he didn't put it through the door in front of him

So far, it's getting a new right rear caliper which means all calipers are new within the last month. I'm going to assume that that caliper isn't going to fix the issue...I'm assuming I'm not getting out there without a new master cylinder.

He's covering everything under the warranty. Just got back from a test drive. They've replaced the right rear caliper and had the master cylinder off, benched tested and rebled it. Then put it back on. Still hot garbage. They are going to investigate ABS module now.

I'm fine, sitting around driving a 2016 Flex EcoBoost loaner
@Dave M Swap went well*

(* The rotors, calipers, and pads went on fine, pedal didn't change almost any after 3 bleedings, at the Ford dealer now.)

Still at the dealer, so the verdict is still out. They are replacing the ABS module/hydraulic control unit. I'm assuming the ABS controller comes with it...dude said it's like a $1000-1500 part, and had to get approval from the Ford Extended warranty people. It got approved right away, but the part didn't get in until yesterday afternoon, but it should be done here within the next couple of hours. Before anything gets done, a test drive WILL occur.

Also, the more I drive this 2016 EB Flex, the less I like it. The brakes are great (probably not great, just great in comparison to my Flex ) and the the touchscreen infortainment is MUCH better than the Gen1 Sync I have, and it's smoother (also only has 3800 miles on it.) But I don't like the rest of the center stack, while the engine and trans are smooth, it does not move out like mine. Even my GF commented on how much slower it felt. I don't particularly like the new steering wheel design. And usually I like the LCD screen with the gauge cluster, but I don't like it here at all. I don't like that there's no analog tachometer. There's more features with the LCD, but I solved that with my Ultragauge. IDK, just a less enjoyable experience.

Cars back in my possession, finally. ABS control unit/hydraulic control unit seemed to be the culprit. I can actually get the ABS working now, I can get enough braking potential to actually feel confident about a panic stop.
