Again, what do modded 3800's run and what mods do they need to get there?

i really don't care about your one isolated car accident...

not sure how that would make you an expert on vehicle collisions but good job.

why are we talking about 3800s anyways? i just said grandprixiraqvet should have kept that modding route

Physics doesn't lie my friend.

You commented on how he should have stayed with a 3800 almost as if you're stabbing at 5.0s.

Always behind apparently, especially during discussions with you experts.

still pretty cheap if i dont like the F150 put stock one back on no big deal.

Edit: Cars still sitting in garage while im out in Wash DC plan is to pick up a paxton on black friday sale.

Thread about the boss intake. If i dont like this maybe just stock one back on or try a Boss with hood notch.

CJ is too rich for my.blood and I dont like the TQ loss with the GT350 one plus that ones expensive too.

Holley sniper might be best fitment + cost vs results overall.

I commented on the boss manifold.

Thanks for your help! I hate going back and reading multiple posts.

@98GrandPrixIraqVet

I am not too sure I would trust an F150 intake netting you huge gains, even for the cheap price. Find a used CJ and have it ported.

the 2015 plus F150 intake manifold im talking about i got on ebay.

the 2015 up F150 manifolds have the cmcv (charge motion control valves) like the stock 2016 coyote intake manifold. Older F150 manifolds do not neither do the gen1 coyote mustang manifolds.

It too cheap not to try thats why i dont get people are hating on it so much.

Hell its less than 1/10th the cost of a fucking CJ intake and less than 1/5th the cost of a boss.

will it be end all be all manifold obviously not but the increase in TQ up to 6500rpm for damn sure is cost effective!

here is the ebay link AGAIN.

You're too sensitive bro.

Never hated on it, simply asked what manifold is that cheap.

You're asking for opinions, don't go on the offensive if people aren't telling you what you want to hear.

If you truly believe this is what you want, by all means, spend your money the way you want, report back to us with your results and stop asking for opinions. Simple as that.

Its not huge gains its cost effective TQ increase.

Go ahead someone humor me someone else find a cheaper mod that produces better results without losing hp or tq under 6500 rpm.

LOL

F150 with a Stock GT manifold showed gains over stock, with some loss down low..

Now, if putting a stock GT manifold on an F150 shows a gain, wouldn't it mean that you'd lose HP on the GT and gain very little torque by using the F150 manifold?

If you were to port the stock manifold, you'd have better gains IMO. It will cost about the same as the F150 manifold

Yes ive read that article and its in the M6G.com thread aswell.

From the svt article LOL

While the GT intake bested the stock truck manifold in the horsepower department, it gave up a lot of torque.

Ford engineers clearly did a great job with the F-150 version of the Coyote intake manifold, as the Mustang GT only picked up 4.02 horsepower at the peak, but dropped 9.75 lb-ft of torque.

thats peak numbers under peak the F150 makes alot more TQ and no HP loss under 6500 rpm.

Just remember that Torque is what gets you off the line and Horsepower is what gets you down the track.

Free Thunderbird from my Grandpa.

This ia how it sits from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Looks like it might have a few dents on the front end from the car port turning into a kite.

At least its dry didnt get flooded and the glass and top survived.

Ill deal with whatever it needs when i get home from Wash DC.

Family down in Rockport TX now cleaning up and workin on a way to get the car transported home for me.
