Hoping to not get pulled into sYp's LSA swap, but for now [2/16]:

ARH LT's / ARH Catted Midpipe
PatG Tune
VCM OTR CAI
Lotta Black vinyl & holden crap

12/15 Dynacom #s:

VCM, PatG 93 base - 362/369
VCM, PatG 93 Base, ARH 1 7/8 w/ ARH catted mid - 388/397

***************************************************

Loved my G8, but it just lacked the snobby creature comforts i've grown accustomed to, so I traded up to the SS. Car is really a monster compared the G8, much of what it fell short on was cleared up, plus much of the G8 parts carried over…

Was happy with VCM intake and PatG tune on the G8, but a world more of difference in the SS.

The VCM needed to be hacked up a bit to clear the SS radiator tabs, and side panels needed some trimming as well. Improved racing had a coupler with vent line, so no need to drill into the maf tube a la my g8.

We built the last exhaust for the G8, but opted for the tried n true ARH setup. 1 7/8 longtubes with hiflow catted X. Kept the stock axleback, but it’s pretty damn loud with them. Have yet to add the block powdercoated redline tips yet.

De-Bowtie’d to its Aussi roots. Crazy how fast things can get here from the land of OZ. Swapped in the aussi phantom black holden parts, fender vents, complete grill and commodore badging. Gloss plastidipped the chrome emblems and grill/fog surrounds. Gloss vinyl’d the door trim, handles, and mirror caps.

The Holden conversion went a lil overboard when I used some remaining credit at shop over there for the Holden airbag and keyfob. The fob was a pita, as the guts needed to be swapped and the fobs themselves are glued together.

Have the new 2016 holden V badges to slap on soon, need to dip over all the chrome bling though

My satin black VMR VB3 wheels also carried over as well, 19x8.5/10 w/ 255/285. The rears fit without issue. I rolled the lips as precaution, but likely not necessary at stock height. Due to the spoke concave on the VB3s, there was some clearance issues up front with them brembos. 10mm spacers gave me the right clearance, and realistically the right offset to match the rear stance. Used the #### studs up front. As seen, not a fan of chrome so sourced some black centercaps and added some vinyl Holden flare to them as well.

Also carried over from the g8 were my 17x9.5 Apex ARC8’s. Solid light wheel for the track, plus matched the style and offered satin black. The 26” height was also a trial run to see if I wanted to add more gear.

Last round of my holden OCD will be to send out my mylink box and cluster to rid myself of the last bowties. Will include the holden branding and programming on the nav screen, center cluster screen and heads up display… digital gauge readouts, performance options like lap timer, 0-60 meter, and few more things that I’ll likely never use and nobody else will notice

Thanks fellas! I was on the fence between this and a couple other platforms, quite happy I went this route. Yes the holden stuff absolutely changed it up for the good, i was pulling badges off it before i hit 200 miles. I'm a Ford guy, but clearly see the light of the ls now :chair: ha

Didn't see is this equipped with the M6 or A6?

Its an A6. Where are you seeing similar LT & Tune LS3's power wise?

I was looking for ~400rw with minor boltons. This was my first experience with a dynacom tho, so unsure where they wind up compared to dynojet/mustang.

Have a camaro5 345 diff, hoping for some 11sec et's on a DR

All the ones I've had on the dyno all have had power adders.

Dyno numbers are just numbers..... 3.45 Diff really isn't going to help since you already have 3.27's.

Gears don't help as much as people think they do with the A6 Trans gearing..

Most your bolt on only A6 stuff will range from 370-400+ depending on dyno. I can take a 400H car to 10 different dynos and range 50 HP LOL.
