So I decided to get another car, I wanted a 2 seater (well, just wanted an s2000)

I've wanted an s2k since the first time I drove one 8-9 years ago, still one of the most fun cars I've ever driven, feels like a go cart

Finally pulled the trigger, I can have a 2 seater now, since it wouldn't be my daily.

Had it for about a week, already purchased new wheels/tires (rpf1's), OEM front lip, and about to pull the trigger on some coilovers (still researching what I want)

on with the pics:

You weren't driving on I-90W yesterday around 10:15-10:30pm by chance? Was behind a black S2000 as I got off at Central on my way home from the auto show.

These things are awesome, nice choice!

Nah, wasn't me, Today was the first time I got to drive it since the day I got it, about a week and half ago.

Get a hard top for it . :werd:

It's in the plans, I think I'm going to stop at Coilovers/Wheels/Tires/Lip for now though

Will do Hardtop/basic bolt ons over next winter.

If you can get a roller it's pretty easy. Just gotta keep the paint warm with a heat gun while you're rolling them. You're also going to need a camber kit up front to tuck the tire in a bit if you're running 255's all the way around.

Are you planning on tracking it? Cause they're fun, but they're a lot more fun out on the track. Set of brake pads, good brake fluid, and a helmet are all you need. I wish there were more s2000 folk on this forum.

Yeah definitely planning on tracking it, that was my main intention when originally looking for them, but after driving it on the street, I need both haha, hence why I went with the GT's over the SP's, I was warned that the gf would kill/hate me if I went with SP's

I wasn't planning on tucking, maybe just an 1" - 1.25" drop, most on s2ki said it could be done with just roll/tab relocation, (slight pull of the fronts which kinds happens when you roll anyway, since the fronts are so thin)

My picture above is with -3.2° of front camber and 2.7° of rear camber and I'm still wearing too much of the outside of the tire. You'll definitely need camber kits if you're going to track it. S2Ki people are all a bunch of stanced idiots riding on shitty coilovers. Trackmidwest on FB is where it's at. The tire without the added camber looks like this...

The tire doesn't wear improperly if you have 0° of toe it and street drive it. Trust me, been doing it for years along with a lot of other people whom I got my information from. The kits aren't expensive either, they'll save the outside tread

Just look at how much the tire folds under the wheel. (compare top to bottom) and that was just me entering the track on cold tires, wasn't even full bore right there.

And this is with ~5,000 miles of street driving and 3-4 track days on -3.2° of front camber. That tire is perfectly worn, the inner edge has the same amount of tread as the outer.
