Fuel Economy Reports!!!!

Daily Scenario:
Now I drive quite a lot. In fact, in the 45days I've owned the vehicle I've tallied 4000mi on the odometer.
My daily commute alone is 39mi one way. It consists of 9mi of 40-45mph roads with traffic lights followed by a 30mi ride up 355/290 in varying traffic conditions. This is all done on the Livernois 93oct Performance Tune

Average MPG: 19.2

Towing Scenario #1:
This is my 8x8 open tilt-deck trailer with 2 snowmobiles strapped down. I haven't logged many miles but the trip was all side streets from Frankfort to Hometown, with a bed full of parts/accessories as we are temporarily evicted from our storage unit. Picture of setup is below. This was done with the factory tune and tow/haul trans selection.

Average MPG: 17.9

Towing Scenario #2:
This was from Palos Park, IL to Grand Rapids, MI and back. The trailer was a 6'x12' enclosed U-Haul with surge brakes. The ride up was empty, but with a NASTY crosswind for a majority of the ride. The ride home had the trailer loaded front to back with the contents of a 2-bedroom apartment and a few large but light items in the bed. 93oct Livernois Tow Tune and tow/haul trans selection.

Average MPG: 14.8

It keeps climbing with more miles on the engine actually. The first week was averaging mid 15's. The past few days it's been doing around 20.5. I'll keep my DD averages and towing adventures updated. I've got move at least one of our boats in the next few weeks so we'll see how that goes.

For a crew cab with a 6.5' box and a 3.55 rear I'm not complaining. Much better than the 12.2 the Jeep got.
