It was a long 2 month wait.

After weeks of determining what options I wanted, I placed the order in early June at Bill Jacobs Chevy in Joliet. I was told 6 to 8 weeks for delivery and GM did not disappoint. I took delivery on Friday after work and have been driving it non-stop. It's a dream car and an upgrade in every way over my 2012 C6.

Here's the specifics::

2014 Arctic White Z51 1LT
Jet black leather interior
7 speed manual
3.42 rear
Black aluminum wheels
+ red calipers
Body painted roof, carbon fiber, non transparent
NPP performance exhaust (dual mode)
Carbon flash painted spoiler, mirrors

The black wheels/red calipers, along with the carbon flash painted mirrors and spoiler really set the car apart from the rest. It's stunning in person and even more amazing to drive. The power comes on much quicker and harder than the C6 LS3 I had before. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and to move on from my old car.

Congrats man, looks great. I would have done the exact order minus the Carbon Flash mirrors and spoiler.

How's the interior space compared to the C6?

I thought it was tighter at first, but getting the seat adjusted appropriately is key. It's about the same, but the door design is nicer if you like to rest your arm on top the door panel when driving. The competition seats were out of the question for me due to how tight they are. I'm not a small guy, so they were not too comfortable. The GT buckets are still very comfortable seats, much like the ones in my old C6. It definitely has that 'cockpit' feel.
