im thinking some 1 maybe 2 night mini tours this year, any interest

example would be drive out to galena, drive through dubuque on up to winona. stay there overnight, next day head back south through wisconsin to a go kart track for some tcg racing. after that keep heading south for a dinner endcap to the trip?

maybe 1 or 2 of these along with the big one.

just thinking out loud.

We really need to have smaller clusters/GPS/Radios if we do this. One big group trying to navigate through galena as a unit was a huge cluster fuck last time we did it. That route along the river up to Winona is full of similar little towns that choke traffic. Luckily there are a lot of pull off areas that the RR uses to drop crews, as well as scenic overlook parking so it would be easy to regroup if we had a means of communicating.

I would try to go around galena if I can. take stagecoach down, then hook a right before galena and try to go around, who knows might find some more interesting roads. But you are correct, would be great depending on how many choose to go, we have a couple of group leaders and break the chain up a bit.

will see how many we get and go from there.

We still have a pair of nicer radios from the 2016 TCG Cruise, we made frequent use of them during the trip :jg:
