July 10th street car shootout @ Byron. Big payout!

We got another date for Street car shootout @ Byron Dragway. July 10th. This will be a night race. Yes, Byron is renting lights and were gonna run all night. All races are clocks off for you street/ grudge racers. The outlaw class now has a $1,500 guaranteed Payout! As we get more sponsors the pot will go up. X275 cars welcome. Only rules in that class are 28" tire or smaller and no wheelie bars. We have classes ranging from your daily driver on true street tires all the way up to an X275 drag radial car.

Yeah true, I'm guessing by the "Street Car" title the car has to be completely streetable registered and insured etc... Or I'll be on the trailer quickly.

Says right in the original post x275 cars welcome. Most Sr cars aren't much different from x275 cars and run similar times. Good luck.

Two classes, one 1/8th one 1/4.... I don't think any real X275 guy will try to run 1/4, even a KOT's SR type car will try to stay 1/8th only..
I do think it needs to be a little more specific, but Legend Racing will be there with 3 or 4 cars...

The only class that requires license plates and insurance and all that is street tire. anyone on drag radials or slicks doesn't necessarily need license plates.

Street tire class is now full. We need a few more for 17" class and the 2 28" classes. All KOTS cars are welcome.

How does the 28's and Outlaw class look? Are they going to be folded together since the only difference is 1/8 and 1/4 making all run 1/8?

So far I think there is only 5-6 cars in both the 1/4 class and the 1/8 class. There is still guaranteed money in both pots so it will be going on regardless of car count.
