A few of us Nascar fans have mentioned meeting up and watching a race at a bar. Bottoms Up Sports Bar in Naperville is accommodating us on Saturday; the race starts at 7 pm. Sports Bar in Downtown Naperville - Bottoms Up Nascar and non-Nascar fans are welcome. Richmond is a three-quarter mile short track and a blast to watch with tons of side-by-side racing.

Plus, later in the night they'll be playing the UFC 172 PPV, which has no cover and starts at 9 pm central, though I think prelims are on FS1 around the same time as the race broadcast.
Also, the racing this year has been wild. Cars are faster and the rules have changed to reward winning more - a win gets a spot in the championship brackets later - and the racing has been super competitive.
