I'm a big fan of the Agency trigger setups, but that's in a gun fully worked over by them as well, so who knows if their drop in triggers work just as well.

I need to get a set of dies, I was watching a guy on youtube make 243 from 308 brass. Said it came out nearly perfectly so it didn't need trimming. Figure I have some brass here and the dies are required for reloading anyways so it won't cost me anything except some time to play around with. If I can get a buncha Lake City I suspect I'll have a good bit of quality brass to play with at bargain basement prices.

Ive never picked up a gun and thought to myself it’s the grip that makes me shoot bad with it, as long as it’s got a decent trigger I can make it work

Have any of you guys ever applied for an SBR stamp? Looking to do a 300BLK AR pistol build next, and then applying for an SBR stamp once it is done.

I know you have to get a local judge or chief of police or something to sign your application, wondering how that works in IL.

I shoot pretty well with both my M&P 45 and Glock 21.

My P938 is great at close range, up to maybe 15-18 feet. Past that, it loses accuracy.

S&W FTW!

With the new rules you can no longer do NFA Trusts. That said, they will be notified now but approval is not required. You also need a C&R License and for that you may need to seek approval. Been a while since I even considered it. I may need to do such again.

Bought the wife a Henry lever action 410 for Christmas. Couldn't wrap it and put it under the tree or she would know exactly what it was. So I threw a shell in a Pandora jewelry gift box and wrapped that.

I just took my 300blk pistol to the range yesterday and have a shockwave brace on it. Honestly, I don't think you'll need to go the $200 tax stamp for an adjustable stock if you get a shockwave you can keep it as a pistol. It's great the way it is and I'll be putting that tax stamp money toward a suppressor for it next.

Glad to hear! I'm going to build a pistol and see how it is. That shockwave brace looks sick!

For sure, build the pistol first and run it through it's paces. You may be pleasantly surprised with how well it works without a traditional adjustable stock.

Bought some Hogue Sig sauer badged rubber grips for the P938.

World of difference and it should make the gun a lot funner and easier to shoot.

Not sure what to pick up next year, though.
