Underdrive pulley for GTO

As a first mod beyond the drop in K&N I have should I consider an underdrive pulley? I dont know much about it and it looks like an "affordable" mod. Does anyone have some suggestions?

Fast 92's kick ass and for a fair price too. Have no where near the cash to get a supercharger so push for this and get a procharger down the road!
I wonder if i need to do any support mods for it?

I would skip the underdrive pulley. They really arent worth any measureable gains IMO. If you cant feel it by the seat of your pants, or it isnt a supporting mod that you do feel a gain from, then save your money.

They're good for 10WHP with a tune on the trucks. Ive heard too many horror stories to put one on my truck.

I couldnt feel any gains from longtubes and a catless Y, believe it or not. Maybe my butt dyno needs some calibration.

They work. I've had one with no problems for over 80k miles. My car ran 13.4 @ 104.4mph bone stock. Added a lid and pulley and ran a [email protected].

Dont do the pulley till you get a cam. honestly there is no "good" cheap mod that you will feel out of the box. just save up.

Quoted for truth. Make sure you can afford a good tune afterwords. One of the best mods for these cars, and the first thing I did to mine.
