If you guys are looking for lunch ideas, ham sandwiches don't have to be boring.
Preheat oven to 350*.
In a baking pan, put the bottom of a bun. Then a few slices of ham, two slices of swiss cheese and more ham on top. Finish with the bun top.
Now, for the important part. Melt a tablespoon or two of butter per sammie. To this butter, mix in a dollop of dijon mustard, a couple shakes of onion powder and a couple shakes of worcestershire sauce. Mix it up good.
Pour the sauce on the sammie and directly around it. I use a small baking pan so the sammie just fits inside and the sauce ends up all around it. Place in oven until cheese is melted and crust starts to crisp. Maybe 10 mins or so.
Add a pickle as a side if you like.
You won't be happy to eat a regular ham sandwich again. These things are GOOD.
