Season 1 is a bit rough. 2-5 are amazing. I end up rewatching this show at least every other year just as background music

Think I'm on season 5? Show is solid...gets a bit repetitive but enjoyable. Elliot is so stupid hot. Fuck.

I don't know how you could binge watch that show. It's so whiny.

Its probably the only network show (aside from Seinfeld) that I've been able to watch for hours on end. Some episodes its background noise, other times its got a few good laughs.

The characters havent grown at all in 5 seasons tho, and that is annoying. Cox, JD, Elliot, they are all the same. Cox is especially bad, "Oh i'm the mean senior doctor but I actually do have a heart and I'll give a speech every few episodes". Lazy writing. Same basic dialogue episode after episode. JD is easily the worst character on the show.

But...I'm invested in the characters despite those gripes.

one of my favorite shows. I loved seasons 1-8. Season 9 "the college years" was pretty bad.

Although they did have some bigger names on that one.

Its basically an entire new 'story arch', where the original cast still exist basically as Cameo roles.

It's them being college professors. IIRC, the only cast members that are there are Cox, Kelso, JD, Turk, Elliot (very seldom).

It's been awhile since I watched that season so I might be wrong on that.

Ha Ha! I actually liked the way the closed the series (well at the time) of season 8.

I just did the same with Grey's Anatomy. Fucking fantastic show. 14 seasons and 20+ shows a season all on netflix. Totally binge worthy.

Im on season 2 now.
