Great show. I really enjoyed the first season. The role is perfect for Hardy.

I keep bouncing back and forth on it. This weeks was a good episode but I sometimes feel like its not really progressing in any meaningful direction. I enjoy it but find myself not always paying attention.

I know Hardy has supposedly lost a good amount of money on this show since its his project. Makes me wonder if this is a one season thing or if they'll push for a second.

Fbombs fly on BBC as well. Fwiw if you want to watch taboo a couple days earlier you can download the torrent on Saturday night after it airs on BBC.

I thought cable channels had a limited number of F bombs available but it looks like it's up to them?

As a cable channel, FX is not regulated by the Federal Communications Commission, and therefore doesn’t face any outside restrictions. But unlike premium channel cables such as HBO and Showtime, where f-bombs are a dime a dozen, FX is accountable to advertisers, so it keeps swearing to a minimum.

The article is lame. It's comparing it to a genre from the 70's and then stating that's why it's good. Why can't it just stand on it own?
