ANd the GTX1080 is faster than TWO Titanx's for $599.

You're telling me. My fucking 980ti I got literally 60 days ago just dropped to probably less than a third of what I paid for it value wise. But at least the new cards will be cheap enough to be ok with taking a hit on your current card.

Good thing I only spent $500 on the open box that was defective and got a brand new-in-box one from the RMA instead of spending $670.

I got mine on a deal day from newegg. with the MIR which I already got back, mine was like $590 to my door. Granted its the cheapest version (EVGA ACX 2.0 card). Still runs like a raped ape and keeps my 144hz refresh rate in most games.

Three times less power according to the Nvidia CEO from that presentation. For the 1080 at least. Not sure about the 1070. He dropped the 1070 at the last minute in a Steve Jobs kind of way. Pretty cool. Some bitch yelled at the camera when he announced the 1080 price "I CAN AFFORD THAT...." and it was captured. Lol.

OH and this is one of those times I wish I bought that MICROCENTER trade-in policy. They will give you back your entire purchase price of that GPU you get this for, and you can apply that to the next one. I think it was good for like three years. And it was an extra $70 for the 980ti.

I got my current one from newegg, but the one before was from micro center and I skipped that plan. NEVER AGAIN.
