It'd be nice to have the old systems for the sentiment, but I find the emulators to be just as good. Though I don't know you can play any 4-player games with the emulators. Some people want ridiculous money for the old systems, and some people are willing to pay ridiculous money.

does it have wireless controllers? Everything works good?
I was also hoping to find something with built in games but I probably won't find that unless I have an emulator. I do have an emulator on my mac, but I want to sit back with an original controller feel and play on my big tv.

Even the pi 2 with 1gb ram?

Si. Especially when you start factoring in multiple users (who wants to play super smash by themselves!?!). The pi processor is the bottle neck.

I was able to run SNES on pi1...and it seemed fine....n64 no way. Pi2 claims people are running 5th gen emulators on it at full speed (n64, playstation) but people still have lots of issues with choppy Fps depending on the game.

I wouldnt waste the money if you are using it for a emulator.

A old pc will work 10x better and you can run 4 players on it.
