Spent another hour or so working on the bow flames until i ran out of paint stripper.

picked up a second battery for the boat so I have 2 on board and a liquidforce towable party island. 138" diameter need some more room to float around while on the lake.

Can you do anything on some sort of tube? Idk if I would need it this season though, but depending on price I might just pick one up. The only problem is I'm not sure how long the boat is going to be out of commission for as I think we blew up the Alpha 1 out drive rofl.

Can you do anything on older Polaris PWCs with the Fuji motors? Carb kits, pistons, jugs, anything?

pick up a battery switch while your at it they are cheep, then you can run your radio off one while your anchored and if you kill it your other one will be fresh, switch it back to both and charge them back up on your way home

Our boat has dual battery's with a switch and a battery charger that works when its plugged into shore power. It does not have a generator which is odd for the size of the boat. I leave the switches OFF when I am not on the boat and on ALL when I am on or cruising. I could run everything off 1 battery then switch to the 2nd as a backup if the
1st drains while anchored or something. But I usually just turn the switches both off when anchored and don't need anything running. Its cool except no music or refrigerator.

You should NEVER run the boat on both batteries unless each one is dedicated to a single motor. Good way to cook an alternator.

Do you have two starting batteries or a deep cycle and a starting?

I wouldn't say that Jared... Most wakeboard boats are setup and okay to run off of both it depends how they are hooked up... But ya most are two batteries

yeah i second what kj said, I've never seen a boat with 2 batteries not run on both batteries, I've ran mine 3 seasons now like that, your not hooking it up to be 24 volt your hooking it up as reserve, it charges both just fine just make sure your alt puts out enough to compensate for how much power your radio draws, i upgraded from the stock 50 amp alt to a 100 amp

Werd. I mean I have put hundreds of hours on boats with that configuration. Shit, as I am typing this I am waiting for a storm to blow over to go drive a boat that has had that setup for the past 75 hours of its young entire life

Anyone know where to launch a jetski/waverunner in Chicago? All of the Chicago Harbors are "No waverunners or JetSkis" allowed to be launched and the 2 harbors that do allow it charge $25 a day for a ramp fee. Fuck that.
