I'm still running the stock original battery in my 03 cobra back from April of 2003 when the car was delivered. Still running strong.

Boats have bilge pumps that run off of batteries. I consider batteries part of routine maintenance.

I just replaced the batteries on my dads boat this season. They were Die Hard from 2012. 3 year warranty and I had no issues with them, but wanted to replace them. Put them in my Powerquest replacing the 3 year old 1 year warranty diehards. Figure if I had a battery issue I would rather be on the Chain with a small boat verses Lake Michigan in a bigger boat.

I replace my waverunner and snowmobile batteries every two years. A waverunner is pretty helpless with a bad battery and I can't pull start my 4-stroke snowmobiles so it is cheap insurance.

2 years is about all I ever get for a PWC battery.

if it's on a tender I wouldn't worry about it, they should last a long time. mine were about 3yrs not on one before I noticed the charge starting to diminish

3 years minimum for replacement unless it starts acting up. After 3 years its up to the person. If a battery dies before 3 years....there was something wrong with it IMO.

Yes, I never seem to get more than 2-3 years out of them. I'm buying the Walmart PWC batteries where you have to add acid yourself.

Not many lately. I put maybe 10 hours tops. My understanding is that the stators on PWC's don't charge batteries like an alternator, but rather maintain them.

I rotate all my battery's on a charger in the winter and keep them inside. Also put the waverunner batterys in the snowmobiles for the winter and keep switching them.

I always take the batteries out of my toon, and just shut the switch off on the boat I check them once or twice and throw them a charge if they happen to get low but that never really happens, ive killed the boat batteries before though by forgetting to turn the battery switch off and not checking on them all winter lol

i'll be replacing my 4 year old PWC battery this year out of maintenance. being dead in the water really sucks, especially on a waverunner. i always toss my lithium mini jumper pack in the the front compartment just in case, luckily i've never had to use it
